DMPM Properties

The Housing Authority of Douglas County expanded its affordable housing portfolio in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s with the addition of six affordable housing apartment complexes: Orchard Knoll, Vine Street, Forest Village, Gateway Village, Glenhaven Apartments, and Blueridge Apartments. The management of these affordable housing programs is provided by the Douglas Multi-Family Property Management Corporation.

Each of these properties has its own mix of funding from federal and state agencies to keep rents affordable. DMPM properties receive funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the United States Department of Agriculture: Rural Development, Oregon Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), and the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME). In some cases, units within the same apartment complex may have different funding sources, and therefore different eligibility requirements and rent limits.
